God Is With You IN The Situation!

by Rick

(Read Daniel 6:19-22)

This morning we continue our series, “Grace that is Simply Amazing” by continuing our mini-series entitled, “Grace Based Success (Prosperity)”.  I feel led to go back to the same passage from yesterday.  The Lord was speaking to me about this passage last night and it was the first thing on my mind when I woke up this morning.

The Bible says, “The next morning, King Darius got up just as it was getting light and ran to the lions’ den.  He was very worried.  When he got to the lions’ den, he called to Daniel. He said, “Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God been able to save you from the lions? You always serve your God.”  Daniel answered, “King, live forever!  My God sent his angel to save me.  The angel closed the lions’ mouths.  The lions have not hurt me because my God knows I am innocent.  I never did anything wrong to you, King.”

So what does this mean to you today?  A few things.

  1.  God will never require you to do something He did not equip you to do.  Daniel was graced to do many things, but he was not graced to fight lions.  Since God had not given him the grace for it, God did not expect him to do it.  God did it for him.

  1.  You are limited, God is not.  God knows your limits and he will do (by GRACE) what you cannot do.  Where your strength ends, grace often kicks in.

  1.  While God does not expect you to do something He did not equip you to do, He does expect you to believe!  Daniel believed God.  He did not go into the lion’s den expecting to die.  What you believe has a lot to do with what you will experience.

  1.  If you have the audacity to believe God for the impossible, the impossible will become possible for you! (Mark 9:23).

  1.  If you are able to believe God enough to see the invisible (in the spirit), then it is only a matter of time before the invisible (what you saw in the spirit) becomes visible to you in the earth realm.

  1.  Daniel believed he would survive the lion’s den.  He provided the faith and God provided His supernatural power by grace.

  1.  God does all He does by grace; unearned, unmerited and often undeserved.  But He requires you to live by faith (not grace).  God requires you to use your faith to access His grace for His best to manifest in your life.

  1.  God is committed to the plans He made for you before the world began.  God knew Daniel’s assignment in the earth was not over.  So God provided divine protection.  Satan can’t kill you when God is not through you with you and you are cooperating with Him!

*** Let’s close with a series of questions.

— What is your lion’s den this morning?

— What seemingly impossible situation are you facing?

— Is your body the attack of a disease?

— Is your financial situation looking bleak?

— Is your marriage at the brink of divorce?

— Is your family falling apart?

No matter what you are facing, no matter how big the challenge, we serve a God who can do what you can’t.  My final message to you this morning is simple: Do all God has graced you to do and believe God to do what you can’t.  Where your strength ends… God’s grace can kick in and perform the supernatural.

Closing Confession:   Father, I thank You for teaching me about Your grace and my requirement to live by faith.  You made plans for me before the world began, and You made those plans by grace.  You love me with an everlasting love, and You love me by grace.  You protect me from my enemies over and over again, and You do it by grace.  You now expect me to make the most of the life You have given me, and You expect to do it by faith.  I walk by faith and not by sight.  I am a believer and not a doubter.  I have the capacity and the audacity to believe You for the seemingly impossible.  By faith I see the invisible and I believe it is only a matter of time before it becomes visible in my life.  By faith I see myself overcoming every challenge, and I face the challenges head-on, believing You have given me the grace to overcome.  On those occasions where I simply can’t do it, where my ability is too limited and my power is not strong enough, YOUR GRACE kicks in and You do what I cannot do.  You became the fourth man in the fire for the Hebrew Boys.  You sent an angel to Daniel in the lion’s den.  If you got in the fire with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; and You got in the lion’s den with Daniel; then I believe You will get DOWN in my situation with me!  You are with me and You will never leave me.  With my faith and Your grace, I believe we will come out ON TOP.  I am committed to giving You the glory for every victory I experience on the road to the fulfillment of my divine purpose, because I know I could never do it on my own!  I am who I am by Your grace.  I declare this by faith.  In Jesus’ name.  Amen.
