MMOV 2015 Recap – Tony Brazelton

by Rick

This morning we will continue with my recap of messages that impacted me during the recent Mighty Men of Valor Conference.  Today the notes/thoughts come from a message delivered by my Pastor and Spiritual Father, Apostle Tony Brazelton of Victory Christian Ministries International.  The message was powerful and life changing.  He dealt with knowing your true identity in Christ Jesus and being one with God, even as Jesus was one with the Father.

In the true “Lord’s prayer”, the prayer Jesus prayed in John 17, Jesus said, “Father, I pray that all who believe in me can be one. You are in me and I am in you. I pray that they can also be one in us. Then the world will believe that you sent me.   I have given them the glory that you gave me. I gave them this glory so that they can be one, just as you and I are one.  I will be in them, and you will be in me. So they will be completely one. Then the world will know that you sent me and that you loved them just as you loved me.”  (John 17:21-23).

So what does this mean to you today?  Let’s get into it.

  1.  True life begins when you discover who you are in Christ Jesus!

  1.  You must know who you are.  If you underestimate yourself you will underestimate God and His ability to work in your life.

  1.  When you fail to discover your true identity in Christ Jesus you run the risk of missing out on all He planned and prepared for you.

  1.  When you don’t know who you are you miss divine opportunities.  You don’t even notice them.

  1.  Your parents did not imagine and make you.  God did, and He did it before the world began.

  1.  This world cannot define you because this world (including your parents), did not design you.

  1.  Your invisible God becomes visible in the earth when you allow Him to flow through you.

  1.  When you become ONE with the Father — which is what Jesus prayed for you — then what is true in God is equally true in you!

  1.  There is no point in learning about Christ if you are not going to learn about yourself in the process.

  1.  Your true value is found in your divine identity and you don’t have to add to it.  Don’t attempt to enhance the value God provided you by adding to whom He called you to be.

  1.  You will experience an amazing life when you get your value from God and His assignment for your life.

  1.  The day you discover who you are in Christ it the day you begin to walk in supernatural blessing and favor.

Closing Confession:   Father, I thank You for teaching me about Your grace and my requirement to live by faith.  There can be no faith where there is no grace.  My faith accesses Your grace so I can walk in the divine assignment You planned and prepared for me before the world began.  My faith aligns with those plans.  My hope is connected to those plans.  I draw my identity from my divine assignment.  Everything I am and everything I am not is tied to the plans You made for me before the world began.  I don’t want to be anyone other than whom You called me to be.  I don’t want to do anything but what You called me to do.  I find my identity, my strength, my purpose and my power in You!  I am in You and You are in me.  Just as You and Jesus were ONE, I am ONE with You and Jesus.  As Jesus is, so am I in this world.  As people come in contact with me today, they are coming in contact with Jesus.  If they have seen me, they have seen Jesus.  I am in Jesus, Jesus is in me.  I am in You, You are in me.  I am in the Kingdom, the Kingdom is in me.  I am Your emissary, Your mouthpiece, Your representative in the earth.  I enter this day knowing who I am, and more importantly, knowing WHOSE I am!  I declare this by faith!  In Jesus’ name.  Amen.

This is Today’s Word!  Apply it and Prosper.
