Our Ministry
We help people encounter Jesus, grow in grace, and find, follow, and finish their God-given purpose. Through clear, practical teaching, the Word of God becomes truth you can understand, believe, and apply every day.
Today’s Word began in December 1997 when Rick shared a daily devotional with eight friends. What started small became a consistent teaching ministry built to explain God’s truth, reveal His person, and help people apply the Word to everyday life.

To explain God’s truth, to reveal His person, and to create an environment where God’s people find, follow, and finish their purpose in life before they die.
Grace comes first. Identity comes before activity. Faith receives what grace has already provided. Purpose predates presence, and God calls every believer to discover, follow, and finish His plan.
Rick Piña is a 25-year United States Army veteran, ministry leader, teacher, and the founder of Today’s Word, which began in December 1997 with eight friends. He holds an M.B.A. and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Trident University International. Together, Rick and Isabella lead RIPM with a commitment to help people encounter Jesus and walk in purpose.
