Happy New Year!
2013 was a great year for the Piña family and I trust it was a great year for yours. It did not come without it’s challenges, but it was a great year nonetheless. We learned about God’s amazing, undeserved and unyielding Grace all year and as we begin 2014 I want to share a few thoughts about Grace that I believe will help prepare us to maximize this year.
A few thoughts on Grace to get us ready for 2014:
1. Understanding Grace take the focus off of you (and your flaws) and puts it on God (and His power).
a. God knows you are not perfect and He did not require you to be perfect in order to bless you.
b. Even when you are faithless, God is still faithful!
c. See 2 Timothy 2:13
2. There is literally nothing God cannot do.
a. God made a sea open, a river split, a city wall come down & a virgin get pregnant. There is NOTHING God cannot do!
b. God is a BIG God and He has NO LIMITS!
c. Grace focuses on God’s LIMITLESS POWER!
d. See Mark 10:27 & Genesis 18:14
3. God made plans for us before the world began.
a. We are not a mistake.
b. God knew we were going to mess up, but He destined us anyway.
c. See Jeremiah 1:5, Galatians 1:15 & 2 Timothy 1:9
4. We serve a GOOD GOD!
a. God is not out to get you.
b. God wants to bless us, not because we are so good, but because he is!
c. See Hebrews 8:12
5. Our job is to BELIEVE He will do His job.
a. By faith you focus and access God’s GRACE.
b. Believe God Can!
c. Have faith that He will.
d. Remember He wants to bless you BY GRACE!
e. He already gave you all He was going to give you BEFORE THE WORLD BEGAN… by GRACE!

*** In 2013 we learned about God’s Grace. In 2014 we will focus on HIM and experience His Supernatural Power! ***
Confession of Faith to begin the New Year: Father, I thank You for Your amazing, unearned, undeserved and unyielding Grace towards me. You made plans for me before the world began. You did this before I could do anything to earn Your favor, goodness or kindness towards me. You did this solely by Your Grace. And when I was born, You faithfully watched over me as I lived a sinful and disobedient life. You loved me and protected me from seen and unseen dangers, once again by Your Grace. You sent people to me, to share Your Gospel with me, because You wanted me to receive Your love. I did. I responded to the Gospel message, I received Your Son Jesus as my Lord, I was Born-Again by Your Spirit, and You did this all by Your Grace. And now that I am Born-Again, Your Spirit revealed things to me, that You planned for me before the world began, and He shows me how to align with Your Kingdom plans and purposes for my life. Once again, not because I deserve it, and not because I have earned it, but solely because of Your Grace. In 2013 I learned about Your Grace. In 2014 I shall embrace Your Grace on another level. 2013 was a Year of Preparation. 2014 shall be a Year of Power! Not my power, but Your power. Not my will, but Your will. Not because I am so good, but because You are so good. Not because of my merit, but because of Your Grace! This year shall be the BEST YEAR OF MY LIFE because this year I will live fully submitted to You. I die to self, I live for You, and I experience SuperNatural Power this year in a way that is far greater than anything I have ever experienced before. I declare this by faith. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
Embrace God’s Grace in 2014 and you will experience the BEST YEAR OF YOUR LIFE!
