The Messages In The Miracles Series Conclusion

by Rick

This morning, we end our series on “The Miracles of Jesus.”  This series started on January 2nd, and it will end today.

Before we get into the wind-down, let’s take a look at this scripture.

(Psalm 126:4 TPT)

Now, Lord, do it again! Restore us to our former glory! May streams of your refreshing flow over us until our dry hearts are drenched again.

This is a season of refreshing and restoring for us. I pray you get refreshed and restored as we study each miracle.

We have studied the miracles for almost five full months. I trust that this series has been a blessing to you. I know it has blessed me richly.

These miracles were not just extraordinary acts performed thousands of years ago, but they’re enduring declarations of God’s love, power, and commitment toward us, His children. We’ve examined every category of miracles performed by Jesus, from healing and nature miracles to resurrection and deliverance miracles.  Each miracle illustrates a unique aspect of God’s divine nature and His interaction with our world.

What is most important for us today is that the miracles are not confined to the pages of the Bible or the timeline of ancient history.  Their significance and power are as relevant today as they were then. Let’s seek to glean the last few nuggets from this series as we close it out.

So what does this mean for you today?  A few things.

1.  Jesus has authority over all creation.

— Every miracle demonstrated Jesus’s dominion over the physical, natural, and spiritual realms.

— From calming storms to healing diseases, no aspect of creation is beyond His command.

— His authority is still active and applicable in our lives today.

— If you believe that, it will change the way you look at God, yourself, your challenges, and your future.

2.  Jesus is our Resurrection and Life.

— By raising the dead, Jesus demonstrated His power over death itself.

— His resurrection miracles provide hope and comfort, affirming the promise of eternal life.

— We can be confident of our own resurrection and eternal life through Him.

— The greatest fear to overcome is the fear of death and Jesus empowers us to overcome it.

3.  Jesus delivers us from spiritual bondage.

— Jesus set people free from demonic oppression, revealing His power over all spiritual darkness.

— His miracles of deliverance help us to build up our faith to receive freedom from every demonic attack.

— Once you are Born-Again, no curse, hex, vex, spell or work of divination has any power over you!

4.  The miracles affirm God’s commitment to us.

— Each miracle performed by Jesus affirmed His presence among His people.

— They served as tangible proof of God’s involvement and investment in our lives.

— Not only does our God have the power to do anything, but the miracles affirm that He is willing to do it FOR US!

5.  The miracles affirm God’s love and compassion for us.

— The miracles of Jesus revealed His heartfelt compassion towards suffering humanity.

— Through acts of healing and deliverance, He showed His willingness to help His people and alleviate our pain.

— We can rely on His compassionate nature in our times of need today.

6.  Miracles should ignite our faith.

— Witnessing Jesus’s miracles often led people to believe in Him.

— They served to ignite faith in the hearts of the observers.

— His miracles can inspire our faith and trust in His power today.

— And by the way, God still performs miracles, so people’s faith is being built up when they see the power of God manifested today.

— Whether you see it or read about it, the miracles should help build up your faith to the point where you can believe God for anything!

7.  Miracles remind us of God’s unlimited power.

— We have studied every miracle Jesus performed, and you should have no doubt that God can do anything.

— From raising the dead to superseding natural laws, Jesus’ miracles show there are no limits to God’s power.

— His ability to intervene in any circumstance should give us peace, knowing that He is omnipotent.

— Not only should we have peace, but we should have faith to believe that His unlimited power will be manifested in our lives today.

8.  The miracles display God’s desire for us to prosper in every area of our lives.

— God takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servants (Psalm 35:27).

— Through healing and deliverance miracles, Jesus showed God’s desire for our complete well-being.

— They show God’s holistic concern for our spiritual, physical, and mental health.

— We can trust God for our complete wholeness today.

— God wants us to be blessed in every area of our lives!

9.  The miracles reveal God’s Glory!

— Every miracle Jesus performed revealed a glimpse of God’s glory and majesty.

— They remind us that God is deserving of all praise and glory.

— We can experience His glory through His miraculous intervention in our lives today.

— When God does what only He can do in our lives, He is glorified in, with, and through us!

10.  The miracles should foster our dependence on God.

— When you know God can do anything, and you believe He will do it for you, you live your life dependent on Him and His miraculous power! You have this mindset: “I need God!

— Miracles remind us of our reliance on God, and they challenge us to lean on His strength rather than our own.

— They help us understand that apart from Him, we can do nothing.

In conclusion, the study on the miracles of Jesus boils down to a few simple things:

(1) God has all power,

(2) God can use this power to impact any area of our lives,

(3) God is willing to do so,

(4) Understanding this, we should increase our faith and,

(5) Once our faith is engaged in God’s power, it should change our perspective when facing something seemingly insurmountable.

Thank you for walking through the miracles with me!

Declaration of Faith:

Father, this is a season of refreshing and restoring for me! After studying all the miracles of Jesus, I boldly declare the following:

Father, I believe in Your limitless authority over all creation, both physical and spiritual. No aspect of life is beyond Your dominion, and this shapes my perspective about You, others, myself, and my future.
