Satan Cannot Stop God’s Grace

by Rick

Today, we continue our series entitled “Laser Focus,” emphasizing living with a Laser Focus on the Fixed Purpose God established for us before the world began.

(Proverbs 4:25 TPT)

Set your gaze on the path before you. With fixed purpose, looking straight ahead, ignore life’s distractions.

Scriptures for today:

(James 1:2-4 TPT)

2 My fellow believers, when it seems as though you are facing nothing but difficulties, see it as an invaluable opportunity to experience the greatest joy that you can!

3 For you know that when your faith is tested, it stirs up power within you to endure all things.

4 And then as your endurance grows even stronger it will release perfection into every part of your being until there is nothing missing and nothing lacking.

(Ecc 3:1 ERV)

There is a right time for everything, and everything on earth will happen at the right time

Setting the Stage.  (From 1 Samuel 18:13-16)

A few days ago, I dealt with the fact that King Saul threw a spear at David, attempting to kill the young man because of the jealousy in his heart.  This is actually very interesting to me, because Saul, being the king, could have simply spoken a word and had David arrested or killed.  However, no matter how much power Saul had, David had God on his side. The Lord was protecting David.  I am not sure how he knew it, but Saul knew he could not touch David, at least not in a traditional way.

King Saul opted to send David into combat, hoping he would die on the front lines.  Saul made David a Commander and sent him on his way.  However, even this plan backfired on Saul.  David faithfully led his troops into battle.  The Bible says, “David continued to succeed in everything he did, for the Lord was with him.”  This was David’s time.  David was walking into his season.  David was operating under the grace of God on his life, and there was nothing Saul or anyone else could do about it.  David was blessed.  The best definition of the Hebrew word translated as “blessing” is nothing missing, nothing lacking, nothing broken, and completely at peace.  That was David’s life.  David’s life had drastically changed in a matter of weeks, and he was walking in the blessing of the Lord.

The Bible says that when Saul recognized what God was doing in David’s life, “He became even more afraid of him.”  Think about that statement for a minute.  King Saul, a man who was a Sovereign in the land — who had no checks or balances, who was basically the supreme authority in his kingdom — was afraid of a teenager because that teenager had the grace of God on his life to lead the nation of Israel.  In other words, Saul was afraid because he knew that the same God who had anointed him to be king had already picked his replacement, and although he knew he had power, he also knew he could not go against God.  We will stop here for today.

So what does this mean to you today?  A few things.

1. An Omnipotent is With You!

Our Heavenly Father possesses limitless power, with absolutely no constraints on His abilities. His omnipotence extends far beyond our human comprehension. There is literally nothing God cannot do.

How this applies to you:

— Recognize that no challenge in your life is too big for God to handle.

— Trust in God’s power to work miracles in seemingly impossible situations.

— Approach life’s difficulties with confidence, knowing God’s strength is behind you and His grace is on you.

— Meditate on God’s omnipotence to strengthen your faith in times of uncertainty.

— Surrender your limitations to God, acknowledging His unlimited capabilities.

— When you know that the God of NO LIMITS lives IN you, and He has graced you to do what He called you to do, you also know that no human can stop you.

— The text says, “The Lord was with David, so he was successful in everything. Saul saw how successful David was and became even more afraid of him.” This tells you that God’s grace and blessing will make you successful, and it also tells you that your enemies, no matter how powerful they are in this world, are no match for God. No one can curse whom God has blessed!

2. God’s Authority Reigns Supreme.

The sovereignty of our Lord supersedes all earthly powers and principalities. Every authority structure in existence ultimately answers to Him.

How this applies to you:

— David was trying to do the right thing by the king, an earthly authority. But when Saul wanted to kill David, the fact that David was protected by the King of kings and there was nothing Saul could do about it.

— Recognize that earthly authorities are subject to God’s higher authority.

— Rest assured that God’s authority overrules any opposing force in your life.

— Submit to God’s authority, knowing it’s for your ultimate good and protection.

— Seek God’s wisdom in navigating relationships with those in positions of power.

— Trust God’s sovereign decisions, even when they don’t align with your expectations. David’s life was changing drastically, but he kept following God, and God led him to His best.

— When you are led by the Holy Spirit, you may feel like you don’t know what you are doing or where you are going, but just as long as you know who you are following, you will be just fine! God will make it all work out for your good in the end.

3. God’s Plans for You are Purposeful and Good.

Long before your first breath, the Lord meticulously crafted a plan for your life. His intentions for you are rooted in love and designed for your welfare.

How this applies to you:

— Looking back over his life, David would later write, “Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, The days of my life all prepared

before I’d even lived one day.” (Psalm 139:16 TPT).

— Embrace the assurance that your life has divine purpose and meaning.

— Trust in God’s good plans, even when circumstances seem unfavorable. God knows what He is doing!

— Seek God’s guidance to align your decisions with His pre-established plan.

— Rest in the knowledge that God’s plans for you are born out of His perfect love. God wants to bless you because He wants to bless you because He is good! Not because you are good.

— Allow God’s purposeful planning to give you hope for your future.

4. God’s Grace is Unstoppable When You Cooperate Him.

When you align yourself with God’s will, His grace flows freely and powerfully in your life. No force can hinder the manifestation of His favor when you’re in sync with His purposes.

How this applies to you:

— For God to operate fully in your life, you must cooperate with Him.

— Cultivate a spirit of cooperation with God’s leading in your life.

— Trust that God’s grace is sufficient to overcome any obstacle you face.

— Recognize that your obedience unlocks the full potential of God’s grace.

— Remain steadfast in faith, knowing that God’s grace is always working, even when you can’t see it.

— Regularly examine your life to ensure you’re not inadvertently blocking God’s grace.

— Faith is not about God giving you what you want. Faith is about you submitting and surrendering to God’s plans, and then intentionally making a human aligning with your divine assignment.

— When you are completely aligned with God, nothing can stop you because, at that point, stopping you would mean stopping God, and God cannot be stopped!

5. Success Attracts Opposition, but Grace Ensures Victory.

Walking in God’s grace doesn’t guarantee a trouble-free life, but it does promise ultimate triumph. Challenges will come, but when your faith taps into God’s grace, you will win, and your life will testify to God’s goodness.

How this applies to you:

— Don’t be surprised by opposition. Count it not strange when trouble comes. Face it with the confidence that God’s grace will see you through.

— Remember that perseverance in trials leads to spiritual maturity and completeness.

— Trust that God’s grace empowers you to overcome every obstacle in your path.

— Maintain an attitude of victory, knowing that with God, you’re always on the winning side.  Victory is not just your destination; it is your starting point!

Declaration of Faith:

Father, Your unlimited power makes all things possible in my life.

I submit to Your supreme authority that reigns over all earthly powers.

Your purposeful plans for me, established before time, are good and filled with hope.

When I cooperate with Your will, Your unstoppable grace flows freely through me.

No earthly force or power can hinder the manifestation of Your favor in my life.

I face opposition with confidence, knowing You have already secured the victory.

My faith is strengthened through trials, producing perseverance and maturity in me.

I walk in the fullness of Your blessing, lacking nothing You’ve purposed for me.

Father, Your grace is sufficient, and I know GREATER IS COMING FOR ME!

I declare this by faith. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

This is Today’s Word. Apply it and prosper!????????????????
