Today we continue our series entitled “Living the Grace Life,” where we will learn to embrace and walk in God’s unmerited, unearned, and often undeserved favor throughout 2025.
Key scriptures for this year:
2 Corinthians? ?9?:?8? ?TPT??
“Yes, God is more than ready to overwhelm you with every form of grace, so that you will have more than enough of everything —every moment and in every way. He will make you overflow with abundance in every good thing you do.”
??
??Galatians? ?5?:?4? ?TPT??
“If you want to be made right with God by fulfilling the obligations of the law, you have cut off more than your flesh—you have cut yourselves off from Christ and have fallen away from the revelation of grace!”
Romans? ?6?:?14? ?ERV??
“Sin will not be your master, because you are not under law. You now live under God’s grace.”
??
1 Corinthians? ?15?:?10? ?CEV??
“But God treated me with undeserved grace! He made me what I am, and his grace wasn’t wasted. I worked much harder than any of the other apostles, although it was really God’s grace at work and not me.”
??2 Corinthians? ?12?:?9? ?ERV??
“But the Lord said, “My grace is all you need. Only when you are weak can everything be done completely by my power.” So I will gladly boast about my weaknesses. Then Christ’s power can stay in me.”
Setting the stage:
As I continue to lay the foundation for the teachings I will share with you in 2025, I believe God wants to introduce us to a different kind of overwhelming. Most people understand what it means to be overwhelmed by problems, challenges, and circumstances. But our 2 Corinthians? ?9?:?8? (?TPT) presents us with something completely different – being overwhelmed by God’s grace!
The Apostle Paul tells us that God is “more than ready to overwhelm you with every form of grace.” This is not the devastating type of overwhelming that comes from this world. This is the liberating, empowering, and energizing type of overwhelming that comes from heaven. When God overwhelms you with His grace, He floods every area of your life with His unmerited favor and supernatural empowerment, leaving no room for fear, doubt, unbelief, or self-effort. This is what #TheGraceLife is all about!
So, what does this mean to you today? A few things.
1. God is Ready to Overwhelm You with Grace.
Our text says that “God is more than ready” to overwhelm you with His grace. The language is clear. God is not being hesitant or holding back. He is a loving Father who has already determined to flood your life with His unmerited favor and divine enablement. He’s not waiting to see if you deserve it. The sovereign God of the universe has already decided to overwhelm you – not with judgment, not with requirements, but with His amazing grace!
How this applies to you:
— God’s grace is not given in small measures; it comes like a flood.
— You don’t have to beg God for grace; He’s more than ready to release it.
— God wants to saturate every area of your life with His favor.
— His grace is not just sufficient; it’s abundant and overwhelming.
— You can face each day knowing God’s grace will flood your life.
— Stop praying for or expecting a trickle when God offers a deluge of grace.
— When God’s grace overwhelms you, your problems shrink in the overwhelm of His presence, love, and power.
— When God overwhelms you with His love and grace, your problems may still be there, but they don’t look as daunting anymore because you know God is with you, and He has graced you to face them by His power.
2. Grace for Every Moment and Every Way.
Notice the text says, “every moment and in every way.” This means there is no time or situation where God’s grace is not available to you. Whether you’re at work, at home, in ministry, in a meeting, in the hospital, dealing with challenges, or receiving a blessing, God’s grace is there.
How this applies to you:
— God’s grace covers every second of every minute of every hour of your day.
— There is no situation too big or too small for God’s grace.
— You never have to face any moment without God’s grace.
— His grace is available for both spiritual and practical matters.
— You can tap into God’s grace in every situation you face.
— Living in grace means having divine help 24/7.
— Whether in the boardroom or the hospital room, His grace is sufficient.
— You don’t have to wait for a special time to access His grace. God’s grace is available in both celebration and crisis.
— His grace is sufficient for both planned and unexpected situations.
— The supply of God’s grace always matches the demand of the moment.
3. More Than Enough of Everything.
When God promises “more than enough of everything,” He’s not just talking about financial provision. This is about having everything you need – wisdom for decisions, strength for challenges, peace for anxiety, ideas for problems, favor with people, words to speak, power to overcome, healing for sickness, restoration for relationships, or whatever else you need to fulfill His purpose for your life. Basically God is saying: when you need it, it will be there!
How this applies to you:
— When you need wisdom for a decision, His grace provides it right on time.
— When you face a challenge that exceeds your ability, His grace brings supernatural solutions.
— When you don’t know what to say, His grace gives you the right words.
— When you feel weak, His grace provides strength for that moment.
— When relationships are strained, His grace enables reconciliation.
— When you need favor with people, His grace goes before you to prepare the way.
— When your natural resources are depleted, His grace can bring supernatural provision.
— When you face health challenges, His grace provides healing power.
— When you’re dealing with difficult people, His grace gives you patience and understanding.
— When you need a breakthrough, His grace makes a way where there seems to be no way.
— When you need guidance, His grace provides clear direction.
— When you’re overwhelmed, His grace brings supernatural peace.
4. Overflow in Every Good Thing.
When God overwhelms you with His grace, He’s not doing it just for you. You become like a reservoir that’s constantly being filled to overflow. The more His grace flows INTO you, the more it flows THROUGH you. This is why Paul said, “God’s grace to me was not without effect” (1 Cor 15:10). God wants to use you as a conduit of His blessing, transforming you from a container into a channel, from a reservoir into a river. From a storage unit into a distribution center.
How this applies to you:
— God’s grace flows TO you, so it can flow THROUGH you.
— You’re not meant to be a Dead Sea that only receives; you’re meant to be a River Jordan that constantly flows.
— The more you allow grace to flow through you, the more God gives you to distribute.
— Your workplace becomes your mission field for displaying God’s grace.
— Your home becomes a distribution center for God’s blessing.
— Your successes become an encouragement to others that God’s grace works.
— Your overflow reaches people that might never enter a church.
— The greater the grace flowing through you, the greater your impact for God’s kingdom.
— You become a walking, talking demonstration of what God’s grace can do.
— People see Jesus in you when you let His grace flow freely through you.
— The more you give away, the more God gives you to give.
5. Living the Grace Life is a Daily Decision.
As we start 2025, I want to make something clear: Living #TheGraceLife is not about learning to live FROM grace, not FOR grace. This is critical because many believers say they live by grace, but when pressure comes, they revert to human effort. They go back to trying to EARN what God has already PROVIDED.
I’ve been walking with God for almost 30 years, and I can tell you – this will frustrate the grace of God in your life. Think about your salvation. You didn’t DO anything to earn it. You simply believed and received what Jesus already provided. This same principle applies to everything else in your life. Paul said to the church in Colossae, “As you have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him” (Col 2:6). You received Jesus by grace through faith. That’s exactly how you’re supposed to live – by grace through faith!
How this applies to you:
— Stop trying to earn what grace has already provided.
— Every morning, remind yourself: “I don’t have to make it happen; God already did.”
— When pressure comes, resist the urge to rely on your strength.
— Your success in 2025 is not about your performance but His provision.
— Grace is not about you trying; it’s about you dying and receiving the life He destined for you.
— You don’t perform FOR blessing; you perform FROM blessing.
— The more you die to sin, self, selfishness, and self-effort, the more God’s grace will flow through you. And you will become OVERWHELMED by God’s grace!
Declaration of Faith:
Father, I thank You for overwhelming me with Your grace today and every day.
I receive Your abundant grace for every moment and every situation I face.
I declare that I have more than enough of everything I need to fulfill Your purpose.
Your grace floods every area of my life, leaving no room for lack or limitation.
I am a channel of Your blessing, overflowing with grace to impact others.
I consciously choose to live by Your grace and not by my own effort every single day.
Your grace empowers me to do what I could never do on my own.
Because of Your overwhelming grace, I can declare that GREATER IS COMING FOR ME!
I declare this by faith. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
This is Today’s Word! Apply it and prosper!
