Grace-Powered Potential

by Rick

Today we continue our series entitled “Living the Grace Life,” where we will learn to embrace and walk in God’s unmerited, unearned, and often undeserved favor throughout 2025.

Key scriptures for this year:

2 Corinthians? ?9?:?8? ?TPT??

“Yes, God is more than ready to overwhelm you with every form of grace, so that you will have more than enough of everything—every moment and in every way. He will make you overflow with abundance in every good thing you do.”

??

??Galatians? ?5?:?4? ?TPT??

“If you want to be made right with God by fulfilling the obligations of the law, you have cut off more than your flesh—you have cut yourselves off from Christ and have fallen away from the revelation of grace!”

Romans? ?6?:?14? ?ERV??

“Sin will not be your master, because you are not under law. You now live under God’s grace.”

??

1 Corinthians? ?15?:?10? ?NIV??

“But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.”

Additional scriptures for today:

Galatians 5:24,25 TPT

“Keep in mind that we who belong to Jesus, the Anointed One, have already experienced crucifixion. For everything connected with our self-life was put to death on the cross and crucified with Messiah. We must live in the Holy Spirit and follow after him.”

Setting the Stage:

Understanding that you died with Christ is not just theological theory – it’s a practical reality that transforms how you live. Many believers struggle with their past, their performance, and their limitations because they haven’t fully grasped this truth: when Jesus died, you died with Him. And just as He was raised, you were raised to walk in the newness of life. This understanding sets you free to live the life God planned for you before the world began.

So, what does this mean to you today?  A few things.

1. You Died With Christ: A New Reality.

Galatians 2:20 TPT

“My old identity has been co-crucified with Christ and no longer lives. And now the essence of this life-expressing divinity within—is the Christ-life, living in me. For my life is now far beyond the empty, self-life that I once lived. The secret of my life is that I live by the power of God’s Son, who loved me and gave his life for me.”

When you truly understand that your past was crucified with Christ, you step into a realm of total liberation and possibility.

How this applies to you:

— The revelation of God’s grace teaches you that every mistake, failure, and limitation has been completely erased in Christ.

— You are now dead to sin, self, and every earthly limitation that would hold you back.

— Your old life, with all its limitations, was put to death on the cross with Jesus.

— You are not defined by your past, but by God’s future for you.  Stop judging your future by your past.

— Your identity is no longer a record of human performance, but a canvas of divine possibilities.

— Shame and condemnation have no legal right to occupy your heart.

— You are free to pursue God’s purpose without the weight of historical limitations.

— You are positioned to write a completely new narrative of grace and victory.

— The life you live now is the life Jesus died to give you.

— At work, this means you open your heart to opportunities for divine manifestation.

— You position yourself as a leader who operates from a place of grace-powered potential, where nothing is impossible!

2. Your Past Was Crucified: Living Free From History.

2 Corinthians 5:17 ERV

“When anyone is in Christ, it is a whole new world. The old things are gone; suddenly, everything is new!”

When you understand that your past was crucified with Christ, you stop allowing it to define your future.

How this applies to you:

— Once you are Born-again, your entire history is replaced by a “whole new world” of divine potential. The problem is that you don’t know how to live like it. Which is why discipleship is necessary.

— Every mistake, failure, and limitation has been completely erased in Christ.

— You are no longer bound by your previous limitations or failures.

— God is not holding your past against you; don’t hold it against yourself.

— You are free to embrace the life God planned without past baggage.

— Your testimony isn’t about your past; it’s about God’s grace.

— Previous failures have no bearing on your future success.

— You are free to pursue God’s purpose without guilt or shame.

— Your identity is in Christ, not in what you’ve done or failed to do.

— God’s grace helps you to transform professional setbacks into opportunities for strategic repositioning.

— Once you realize that ALL THINGS ARE NEW, you open your heart to the future God planned.  This will make you a new person and a better leader.

— Right now, many people are going through transitions. When you understand what I am teaching, you confidently approach career transitions, knowing your identity transcends job titles. God has promised to make your name great, not your title. Titles change. Your name does not.

3. Resurrection Power: Living Beyond Natural Limits.

Ephesians 1:19-20 TPT

“I pray that you will continually experience the immeasurable greatness of God’s power made available to you through faith. Then your lives will be an advertisement of this immense power as it works through you! This is the mighty power that was released when God raised Christ from the dead and exalted him to the place of highest honor and supreme authority in the heavenly realm!”

Just as you died with Christ, you were also raised with Him to walk in new life.  You have been equipped with resurrection power that defies every natural limitation and expectation.

How this applies to you:

— The “immeasurable greatness of God’s power” is your daily inheritance.

— The same power that raised Jesus from the dead now lives in you.

— You are no longer bound by human limitations or natural abilities.

— God’s resurrection power enables you to do what you could never do alone.

— You have access to supernatural abilities through God’s grace.

— Your capacity is no longer determined by your education or experience.

— The Holy Spirit empowers you to exceed natural expectations.

— You can accomplish things that are impossible in human strength.

— God’s power flows freely through yielded vessels.

— Your weaknesses become platforms for God’s strength.

— Every weakness is a platform for God’s extraordinary power to be displayed.

— Your capacity is no longer defined by education, experience, or natural talent.

— Impossibilities bow before the resurrection power living within you.

— You are a walking, talking billboard for the power of God’s amazing grace.

4. Walking in Freedom: Led by the Spirit.

2 Corinthians 3:17 TPT

“Now, the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”

True freedom is not the absence of constraints, but the powerful presence of the Holy Spirit guiding your entire existence.  Furthermore, being free in Christ means being led by the Holy Spirit without the hindrances of guilt or condemnation.

How this applies to you:

— Freedom means being completely surrendered to divine leadership.

— Your dependence on God becomes your greatest source of power and freedom.

— You are liberated from performance pressures and religious obligations.

— Every moment becomes an opportunity for a spontaneous move of the Holy Spirit.

— Your life is a continuous journey of grace-powered discovery.

— You are empowered to live beyond predictable, human-centered existence.

— Uncertainty becomes an adventure of trust, not a source of fear. In other words, living by faith is exciting!

— The Holy Spirit leads you into the life God planned before time began.

— You are free to follow God’s leading without the pressure to perform.

— God’s grace empowers you to do whatever He calls you to do.

— You don’t need to have all the answers; just follow the Spirit’s leading.

— Freedom means being comfortable with not knowing what is around every corner but knowing it will be good because God made good plans for you!

— The Holy Spirit reveals your next steps as you walk in faith.

Declaration of Faith:

Father, I thank You for transforming my entire existence through Your amazing grace.

I declare that my professional identity is now rooted in Christ’s unlimited potential.

Every limitation has been crucified, and a new realm of possibility now defines me.

Your resurrection power flows through my career, my relationships, and my purpose.

I embrace uncertainty with confidence, knowing Your plans exceed my understanding.

I walk in complete freedom, led by Your Spirit into unprecedented opportunities.

Living this way, I manifest THE GRACE LIFE in 2025 and beyond! I declare this by faith. In Jesus’ name. Amen!

I declare this by faith. In Jesus’ name. Amen!

This is Today’s Word! Apply it and prosper!
