Today we continue our series entitled “Living the Grace Life,” where we will learn to embrace and walk in God’s unmerited, unearned, and often undeserved favor throughout 2025.

Key scriptures for this year:

2 Corinthians? ?9?:?8? ?TPT??

“Yes, God is more than ready to overwhelm you with every form of grace, so that you will have more than enough of everything—every moment and in every way. He will make you overflow with abundance in every good thing you do.”

??

??Galatians? ?5?:?4? ?TPT??

“If you want to be made right with God by fulfilling the obligations of the law, you have cut off more than your flesh—you have cut yourselves off from Christ and have fallen away from the revelation of grace!”

Romans? ?6?:?14? ?ERV??

“Sin will not be your master, because you are not under law. You now live under God’s grace.”

??

1 Corinthians? ?15?:?10? ?NIV??

“But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.”

Additional scriptures for today:

Exodus 31:1-6 NIV

“Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘See, I have chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills–to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze, to cut and set stones, to work in wood, and to engage in all kinds of crafts. Moreover, I have appointed Oholiab son of Ahisamak, of the tribe of Dan, to help him. Also, I have given ability to all the skilled workers to make everything I have commanded you.'”

Exodus 35:30-35 NIV

“Then Moses said to the Israelites, ‘See, the Lord has chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills–to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze, to cut and set stones, to work in wood, and to engage in all kinds of artistic crafts. And he has given both him and Oholiab son of Ahisamak, of the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach others. He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen, and weavers–all of them skilled workers and designers.’ “

Setting the Stage:

For the past several days, we’ve been exploring various dimensions of living THE GRACE LIFE. Today, I want to focus on how God’s grace empowers us with supernatural ability in our vocations, businesses, and creative pursuits.

Let me introduce you to a Biblical example you might not be familiar with. In Exodus, when God commanded Moses to build the Tabernacle (a portable sanctuary), He didn’t just provide instructions. He specifically chose and empowered a man named Bezalel with supernatural skills to lead the project. The Bible says God filled Bezalel “with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, understanding, knowledge and all kinds of skills” to excel in design, metalwork, woodworking, and other crafts.

This story is paramount to understand because it shows that God doesn’t just empower people for religious activities.  He supernaturally equips professionals in every field!  God filled this man with the divine ability to excel in what many would consider “practical” or “business” skills–designing, creating, and building with various materials.  This demonstrates that God’s grace extends to every area of our lives, including our careers, businesses, and creativity.

The same God who empowered Bezalel with supernatural excellence wants to empower you with a similar spirit of wisdom and ability in your field.  This isn’t about striving for your own strength; it’s about receiving a grace-empowerment (downloads from heaven) that give you a competitive advantage in the marketplace.

So, what does this mean to you today?  A few things.

1. God Fills People with His Spirit for All Types of Work, Not Just “Ministry.”

Many believers have created a false narrative between “sacred” and “secular” work. But

the story of Bezalel clears that up for us. God specifically filled him with His Spirit to excel in craftsmanship.

How this applies to you:

— God doesn’t just anoint preachers, prophets, and worship leaders. He also anoints businesspeople, craftsmen, artists, scientists, educators, healthcare workers, and those in every field and mountain of influence.

— The same Holy Spirit who empowers someone to preach a sermon can empower you to write code, design a building, develop a marketing strategy, create an exceptional menu, or excel in any other vocational pursuit.

— Your profession isn’t just a way to pay bills; it’s a divine assignment.  When you understand this, you stop seeing your job as separate from your spiritual life, and you begin to see it as an extension of your ministry.

— God specifically mentions in Exodus 31:3 that He filled Bezalel with His Spirit for craftsmanship.  This is the same language used (filled with the Spirit) elsewhere in scripture for prophetic or leadership anointings. Your work matters to God just as much as any other form of ministry.

— When you invite God’s grace to operate in your profession, you transcend ordinary human competence and begin to operate with supernatural ability that will cause others to wonder how you’re achieving such results. I am a witness.

— God’s grace doesn’t just save you; it qualifies you to excel in the work He’s called you to do. Your success isn’t dependent on your natural ability alone but on His supernatural enabling power.

If you are being asked to be more innovative or creative at work or in your business, why don’t you spend some time in prayer instead of just working harder or longer hours? God can do more with one download than you can with hours of research.

2. Divine Skill Comes with Multiple Supernatural Dimensions.

Notice the specific components of the Spirit that God gave Bezalel.  It wasn’t just raw skill; it included wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and craftsmanship. This multi-dimensional empowerment is what produces truly extraordinary results.

How this applies to you:

God filled Bezalel with wisdom (the ability to see from God’s perspective), understanding (the ability to comprehend deeply), knowledge (mastery of information), and skill (technical ability). This comprehensive anointing enabled him to execute his assignment with excellence. God can do the same for you!

— The spirit of Bezalel isn’t just about being good at something; it’s about operating with divine insight that transcends human capacity.  It’s the difference between being skilled and being anointed.

— When God gives you an assignment, He equips you with more than just the ability to perform tasks.  He gives you supernatural wisdom to see what others can’t see, understanding to grasp what others can’t comprehend, knowledge beyond what you’ve personally acquired, and skills that exceed your training.

— Many believers struggle in their careers not because they lack education or experience but because they’re trying to succeed through natural means alone. They haven’t yet tapped into the supernatural dimensions that grace provides.

The spirit of Bezalel enables you to see solutions that others miss, understand complex problems that baffle your colleagues, know things you haven’t learned through conventional means, and perform with skill beyond your years of experience. Once again, I am a witness of this.

— If you’re feeling inadequate in your field, it’s not necessarily because you need more training (though education is important and has its place). You may need to tap into God’s grace on a greater level.

3. Supernatural Excellence Is Transmitted and Multiplied Through Teaching.

One of the remarkable aspects of Bezalel’s anointing was that it didn’t stop with him. Exodus 35:34 specifically mentions that God gave both Bezalel and Oholiab “the ability to teach others.” Divine ability is meant to be multiplied, not hoarded.

How this applies to you:

— The greatest craftsmen aren’t just skilled themselves; they’re able to impart their knowledge and ability to others.  God expects you to be a multiplier, not just a performer.

— Notice that teaching ability was itself a supernatural gift. Some highly skilled people struggle to explain what they do.  But when God gives the spirit of Bezalel, He also gives the ability to articulate and transfer that skill to others.

— Your success isn’t measured merely by what you personally accomplish but by what you empower others to accomplish.  Are you creating a legacy of excellence that will outlive you?

— Bezalel and Oholiab trained an entire generation of craftsmen who built the Tabernacle.  Similarly, your divine anointing should raise up others who can carry on and expand your work; even after you leave that job or maybe even leave the planet.

Teaching what you know doesn’t diminish your value; it multiplies your impact.  Some people hoard knowledge out of insecurity, fearing that if others learn what they know, they’ll become dispensable.  But in God’s Kingdom, the more you give away, the more valuable you become.

— If you’re struggling to explain your process or train others in your field, ask for the Bezalel anointing that includes supernatural teaching ability.  This isn’t just about communication techniques; it’s about impartation.

— The greatest business leaders, artists, scientists, and professionals aren’t just personally successful; they create movements, trends, and schools of thought that perpetuate their vision long after they’re gone.  This is the multiplication effect of the spirit of Bezalel.

4. Divine Craftsmanship Always Has a Greater Purpose.

Bezalel wasn’t just creating beautiful objects for their own sake. He was building a dwelling place for God’s presence.  Similarly, your work has significance far beyond the immediate product or service you provide.

How this applies to you:

— Bezalel’s extraordinary skill was directed toward a specific purpose: creating a sanctuary where God could dwell among His people. Your work, too, has a divine purpose that transcends the obvious.

When you understand the greater purpose behind your work, it transforms mundane tasks into meaningful contributions to God’s kingdom.  You’re not just earning a living.

Bezalel wasn’t building the Tabernacle for his own glory but for God’s glory. Similarly, when you operate in the spirit of Bezalel, you stop seeking recognition and start seeking impact. Your motivation shifts from “How can I be successful?” to “How can my success serve God’s purposes?”

— The Tabernacle Bezalel built became the center of Israel’s worship for generations. What lasting legacy will your work create? How will it continue to bless others and glorify God long after you’re gone?

Operating with supernatural excellence means seeing beyond the immediate project to its eternal implications. Your business isn’t just about profits; it’s about providing value, creating jobs, serving needs, and becoming a channel for God’s blessing to flow to others.

— When you align your work with God’s purposes, you tap into a level of anointing and impact that purely self-serving work can never access.  Bezalel’s work mattered because it served God’s purpose. Make your work matter by ensuring it serves something greater than yourself.
