No Shortage of Grace

by Rick

(Romans 5:17 KJV)  For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.

(2 Corinthians 6:1 KJV) We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.

This morning we get back to our series “Grace that is Simply Amazing.”  Since the beginning of the new year I have been meditating on the two verses I provided for you today (Rom 5:17 & 2 Cor 6:1).  My Pastor, Tony Brazelton, has been teaching on them and the more I meditate them, the more I appreciate God’s grace.  With that in mind, I will jump straight into providing you a few golden nuggets about God’s grace to help you maximize your day.

So what does this mean to you today?  A few things:

1.  God has no shortage of grace. God gives us grace in abundance! (Rom 5:17).  Abundance means: extremely plentiful, over sufficient in quality & quantity, more than enough.  That is how God has poured out His grace towards us.  So no matter the size of the problem, God has given you MORE THAN ENOUGH grace to overcome it.

2.  Through the abundance of God’s grace and the gift of righteousness He gave us in Jesus, we are supposed to reign in life.  To the degree that you receive the grace of God towards you, is the degree that you will reign, because it is only by Grace that God actually reigns through us.  God wants to impact and influence the world and He wants to do it through you!

3.  The Lord wants us to succeed, no matter the circumstances.  You will never face a temptation/test that God has not ALREADY prepared you, by His grace, to triumph over.

4.  If you can think it, God can exceed it; if you can believe it, God can do beyond it – by His amazing grace (Eph 3:20).

5.  Stop thinking small.  There is no shortage of divine grace, favor or power.  Die to self, allow God to live through you, and you will go further than you ever imagined in the natural.

6.  You are not inconveniencing God.  “You have not because you ask not” (James 4:2).  Some believers think they are bothering God when they pray.  You are not bothering God.  God loves you with an everlasting love and He wants to bless you by grace.  God wants to impact the world through you.  Let Him.  Believe, pray, ask, embrace His grace and you will never be the same.

7.  The effects of sin were powerful (because of Adam), but the effects of Grace are MUCH MORE powerful (because of Jesus).  Jesus redeemed us from everything Adam got us into and He provides us MUCH MORE (Rom 5:17)

I have lots more to say.  I did not even get to mention 2 Corinthians 6:1, but I will stop here for today and pick it up from here tomorrow.

Before I close, I want to share something NEW with you.  I am now recording a video version of Today’s Word.  You can receive this message in video form.  Here is the link:  http://new.livestream.com/rickpina/live/videos/39682620

Closing Confession:  Father, I thank You for teaching me about Your amazing, immeasurable and inexhaustible grace.  You love me with an everlasting love and You pour out an abundance of Your grace upon me.  Your grace is always enough.  It never runs out and it never comes up short.  There is nothing I cannot accomplish when I am doing what I have been called and graced to do.  In 2013 I faced my share of challenges.  There were times when the pressure was on me to give up, cave in and quit.  But Your grace kept me going.  It was not my power, but Yours.  It was not my goodness, but Your grace.  It was not my ability, but Your supernatural power flowing through me in abundance.  In many ways 2013 was a year of preparation.  I learned about You in a way that far exceeds what I had learned before.  I am now prepared to die to self and to allow Your grace to flow through me unhindered and unchecked.  As You flow through me freely, I will experience You like never before and others will experience You through me like never before.  2014 shall be a year of POWER!  Not my power, Your power.  Not my ability, Your Grace.  I enter 2014 knowing that I do not have to face any challenge on my own.  In my power, I am limited.  In Your power, I am limitless.  In my ability, there are many things I cannot do.  But in Your ability, flowing through me by Your grace, I can do all things.  I die to self daily, I get out of the way, and I allow Your power to flow through me by Your Grace.  As I do, I shall experience the best year of my life, and You will be glorified through me like never before!  I declare this by faith.  In Jesus’ name.  Amen.

This is Today’s Word!  Apply it and Prosper.
