(Mark 9:23 ERV) Jesus said to the father, “Why did you say ‘if you can’? All things are possible for the one who believes.”
This morning we continue our new series, “Maximizing 2015 by God’s GREAT GRACE.” Yesterday I was listening to a message preached on New Year’s Eve where a prophetic word was released. During the message the person talked about an encounter with God where the Lord said, “In this world people say, “I believe the day is coming when we will see God’s glory. I believe I believe the day is coming when we will see miracles. I believe the day is coming when we will see the love of God poured out. To people who say “The day is coming”, you say to them, this is THAT DAY! This is THAT DAY!” The person went on to say, “When the devil tells you you are not going to be healed, or helped, or delivered, you tell the devil, “This is THAT DAY! This is THAT DAY!” I was driving as I listened to it and I could hardly contain myself. When I heard the words, “This is THAT DAY”, it was like something in me exploded! I immediately received the word as a Word from God for me.
I sincerely believe 2015 will be the best year of my life. My question for you is, what do you believe about 2015? I have heard and received words from God about 2015 being ‘the year of Great Grace’, ‘the year of the Open Door’, and ‘the year of The Overcomer’. I have heard and am hearing from God concerning this year, and even though we are only 9 days into it, I can tell you that I am off to a great start.
What are you believing in your heart concerning this year? What has the Lord spoken to you? What are you standing on? What are you expecting for this season? Whatever it is, you will more than likely receive whatever you believe. Jesus said, “All things are possible for the one who believes.” What are you believing God for this season?
So what does this mean to you today? A few things as we seek to maximize this season.
- Jesus said, “It is not just bread that keeps people alive. Their lives depend on what God says.” (Mat 4:4). What is God saying to you in this season?
- Jesus said, “All things are possible for the one who believes.” (Mark 9:23). Good or bad, you are going to experience what you believe. What do you believe God will do IN and THROUGH your life in this season?
- You are only limited by your capacity to believe God.
- Our God is a God of no limits. If you have limits on God, then you placed them there. Remove every artificial limit you have ever placed on our limitless God.
- Solomon said, “The tongue can speak words that bring life or death. Those who love to talk must be ready to accept what it brings.” (Prov 18:21). Good or bad, you are going to have what you say. What are you saying about 2015?
- *** Don’t believe based on your power. Many Christians make the mistake of dreaming small dreams or believing God for things based on their power, ability and strength. NO! That’s a mistake. That is not how God deals with us! God wants to bless you by grace, not your human ability. So open your heart to everything God is showing you about 2015 and yield to God so HE can bring it to pass.
- There is nothing God can’t do and He is the one looking to use you in 2015 like never before. Stop basing your future on your limited ability. Base your future on God’s limitless power! Now that I’ve told you that, let me ask you again, what are you believing God for in 2015?
Closing Confession: Father, I thank You for Your Great Grace towards me. My heart is open to receive everything You want to do in my life in this season. I remove every artificial limit I have ever placed on You. I decrease that You may increase in me. I no longer base my future on my strength, I base my future on Your grace and all You planned to do in my life. I have heard people say, “There is coming a day when God will do…” such and such. But my declaration now is, “This is THAT DAY! This is THAT DAY!” In 2015 I yield to You Father like never before. In 2015 I die to self to a greater extent than I ever have. In 2015 Your power flows through me regularly. In 2015 the supernatural becomes natural for me. In 2015 I don’t see limits, I refuse to accept defeat, and I see myself as You see me — the head and not the tail, the winner and not the loser, the victor and not the victim! Not by my power, but by Your strength. Not by my merit, but only by Your grace. In 2015 all things are possible for ME, because I believe You Father, and I believe You will manifest Yourself in my life like never before. I will experience Your Greater Grace in this season. I declare this by faith. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
