Today, we continue our series entitled “Laser Focus,” with the point being that we should live with a Laser Focus on the Fixed Purpose God established for us before the world began.

This is the main scripture we will be looking at this year:

(Proverbs 4:25 TPT)

Set your gaze on the path before you. With fixed purpose, looking straight ahead, ignore life’s distractions.

Today, we will also look at:

(Proverbs 3:3-4 TPT)

Hold on to loyal love and, don’t let go, and be faithful to all that you’ve been taught. Let your life be shaped by integrity, with truth written upon your heart. That’s how you will find favor and understanding with both God and men—you will gain the reputation of living life well.

Setting the Stage.

Here are a few of the things I have told you this year that I believe to be prophetic:

— This is a year of fixed purpose, and in order to see the manifestation of God’s purpose, we must remain laser-focused.

— This is a year of supernatural kindness, where we will experience the favor of God.

— This will also be a year of many distractions, so we must develop the discipline required to remain focused and ignore life’s distractions.

Dr. Jerry Savelle said this about 2024 after sharing the types of blessings he believes the Lord wants us to walk in. He said, but if you want to experience your highest expectations being fulfilled, you must do these three things:

1. Stay in faith.

2. Remain focused on the promises of God.

3. Refuse to be distracted by what is happening in the world around us.

He went on to say:

— “Focus enables you to see what God sees, and remaining focused keeps you moving toward the fulfillment of it.”

— “Your ability to remain focused on what God has promised will determine if you ever reach the place where God wants you to go.”

— “If you can’t maintain your focus, then it’s not likely that you’ll ever experience the fulfillment of what God has promised.”

I felt led to share all of that this morning to set the stage for your heart to maintain the integrity of the Spirit the Father wants you to keep so you can see the manifestation of His best in 2024.

So, what does this mean to you today?  A few things.

1. Maintaining Focus Through Loyal Love and Faithfulness.

— Commit to Loyal Love: Loyal love is an active choice to consistently love God and others, reflecting a heart aligned with God’s purpose.

— Hold Tight to Faithfulness: Faithfulness isn’t just a virtue—it’s a spiritual discipline that keeps you focused on God’s promises and purposes, undeterred by the world’s distractions.

— Openness to God’s Teachings: Stay teachable, allowing God’s Word to refine your focus and strengthen your commitment to His path despite the chaos around you.

— Live with Integrity: Let your life be a testament to integrity, demonstrating a clear and undistracted commitment to live by God’s standards.

— Anchor Your Heart in God’s Truth: Keep your heart anchored in God’s truth, ensuring your focus isn’t shifted by life’s illusions or distractions.

— Expect God’s Favor: Understand that a life lived in loyal love, faithfulness, and integrity supernaturally attracts God’s favor, causing you to experience God’s best from the hands of those around you.

— Cultivate a Good Reputation: Aim to be known for living life well, with a focus so unwavering on God’s purposes that it becomes evident to all who know you.

Say this, “I love God, and I am loyal to Him!

2. Experiencing God’s Favor by Embracing Integrity and Truth.

— Choose Integrity Always: In every decision and action, choose integrity, demonstrating a focused commitment to God’s way, even when it’s challenging.

— Use Truth as Your Guiding Light: Let God’s truth direct your path, ensuring your focus remains on what is eternally significant. The eternal aspect is the key. This mindset will keep you locked in on God’s fixed purpose.

— Understand the Source of Favor: Recognize that divine favor comes from a life aligned with God’s will. The more you align with what you are assigned to do, the more you will enjoy a life lived under the canopy of God’s kindness.

— Pursue a Respected Name: Strive for a reputation that honors God, a natural outcome of a focused life lived in integrity and truth.

— Look Beyond Immediate Gains: Understand that the lasting favor and success God provides far exceed the temporary benefits of taking shortcuts.

— Ignore Every Distraction: As you live your life in integrity and truth, know that satan will do all he can to get you to take shortcuts that violate God’s heart. Don’t take the trap. Choose the hard right over the easy wrong every time! In the long run, you will be glad you did! Integrity attracts favor!

3. Flourishing in God’s Favor by Holding Fast to His Truth.

— Develop the Discipline of Daily Faithfulness: God is looking for you to be loyal to Him and to His purpose for your life, and this cannot be a one-time or a few-time thing. God is looking for faithfulness day in and day out, over the span of your lifetime. This type of discipline and integrity attracts God’s goodness, kindness, mercy, and favor.

— Align Your Heart with Truth: Constantly saturate your heart with God’s truth, ensuring your life’s focus remains on His promises. If you fill your heart with God’s Word, you are setting yourself up for long-term success because your thoughts control your life (Prov 4:23). Your great asset is your mindset!

— Earn a Good Name with God and People: Understand that a life focused on God’s principles naturally leads to a reputation that reflects His goodness. The reason why God wants you to have a good name is because your name is connected to His.

— Live a Life of Significant Impact: Use the favor you receive to make a lasting difference, staying focused on God’s broader mission through your life. Remember, it’s not just about you. God’s favor on your life is not just so you can have pleasant experiences. It is intended for divine and multi-generational impact. Said another way, favor is not for selfish desires. It is for God’s purpose (for His Kingdom to advance). Now, the truth is, God is not opposed to you ENJOYING THE RIDE! So, while you are living to make an impact, God will also bless you richly to enjoy the ONE LIFE He gave you.

Declaration of Faith:

Father, I uphold integrity and truth as my guiding principles, trusting that they will navigate me through life’s distractions and toward Your divine favor.

I promise to remain teachable, soaking in Your Word and teachings, allowing them to shape my character and actions.

I fill my heart with Your Word, and my life is anchored in Your truth.  This ensures my thoughts and decisions align with Your will and purpose.

I believe that by living according to Your principles, I will attract favor from both You and others.  I live under a canopy of kindness.

I am dedicated to using the favor You grant me to make a significant impact, focusing not on personal gain but on advancing Your Kingdom on Earth.

I am grateful for the promise of Your constant presence and favor in my life, knowing that it empowers me to live a life of significant impact, reflecting Your glory in all I do.

I vow to maintain a laser focus on Your fixed purpose for my life, diligently avoiding the distractions that seek to derail me, and embracing every opportunity to demonstrate Your love and faithfulness in action.

I am confident that GREATER IS COMING FOR ME because I live each day saturated with Your favor! I declare this by faith, in Jesus’ name, AMEN!

This is Today’s Word. Apply it and prosper!
