Today we continue our series entitled “Living the Grace Life,” where we will learn to embrace and walk in God’s unmerited, unearned, and often undeserved favor throughout 2025.
Key scriptures for this year:
2 Corinthians? ?9?:?8? ?TPT??
“Yes, God is more than ready to overwhelm you with every form of grace, so that you will have more than enough of everything—every moment and in every way. He will make you overflow with abundance in every good thing you do.”
??
??Galatians? ?5?:?4? ?TPT??
“If you want to be made right with God by fulfilling the obligations of the law, you have cut off more than your flesh—you have cut yourselves off from Christ and have fallen away from the revelation of grace!”
Romans? ?6?:?14? ?ERV??
“Sin will not be your master, because you are not under law. You now live under God’s grace.”
??
1 Corinthians? ?15?:?10? ?NIV??
“But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.”
Additional scriptures for today:
2 Corinthians 3:3 NIV
“You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.”
Setting the stage:
To understand the revolutionary nature of grace, we must understand God’s original intent versus what happened under The Law. In the beginning, God created Adam with His Spirit living inside him. Adam didn’t need external rules because he had internal guidance. He walked with God directly, operating in supernatural power as heaven’s representative on earth. When Adam fell, humanity lost this intimate connection, leading to the need for external laws written on stone tablets. Under The Law, people could only encounter God’s Spirit in a physical temple, once a year, through a designated High-Priest. But Jesus came to restore what Adam lost.
Many Christians don’t understand the chronology of scripture. When they are told that Jesus is the repairer of the breach between God and man, they think Jesus restored us back to Abraham. But actually, Jesus restored us all the way back to what Adam had in the Garden of Eden, before the fall. Through His death and resurrection, Jesus made it possible for us to become living temples of the Holy Spirit. Just like Adam walked with God in the cool of the day, being led by the Holy Spirit, we can walk with God and be led by His Spirit.
Under The Law of Moses, the Holy Spirit lived inside the Tabernacle and later the Temple. But under grace, we’ve moved from visiting God’s presence in the Temple to becoming walking manifestations of His presence. This isn’t just theological theory—it’s practical power for everyday living in THE GRACE LIFE.
So, what does this mean to you today? A few things.
1. From Temple Visits to Living Temples.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 NIV:
“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price.”
1 Peter 2:5 NIV:
“You also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house.”
The shift from the Old to New Covenant isn’t just about changed rules—it’s about transformed reality. Under The Law, people had to visit a temple to encounter God’s presence. Under grace, we are the temple.
How this applies to you:
— Do you realize that your home and office are now holy ground because God’s Spirit lives in you?
— You don’t need to “go to church” to access God; you bring His presence into every meeting, conversation, and activity you engage in.
— Every business decision you make can be Spirit-led because God’s Spirit lives in you.
— When you understand and embrace this, your workspace becomes a place of divine encounters through your presence becuase you are a human conduit of the divine.
— You can receive divine downloads of wisdom anywhere, anytime.
— God can give you divine wisdom while you are driving. So, your morning commute can be as sacred as a temple visit.
— Your cubicle or office can become a place where heaven touches earth becuase you are there, and God lives in you.
2. Restored to Wisdom and Authority.
Matthew 19:a9,20 ERV:
“When you are arrested, don’t worry about what to say or how you should say it. At that time you will be given the words to say. It will not really be you speaking; the Spirit of your Father will be speaking through you.”
Luke 10:19 NIV:
“I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy.”
Through grace, we’re restored to God’s original intent—walking in supernatural authority while representing heaven on earth.
How this applies to you:
— Once you are Born-Again, you are empowered to live the way Jesus lived; led by the Holy Spirit, with all power and authority over the Kingdom of darkness.
— Not only that, but you can access divine creativity for problem-solving, like Adam did, without ever going to school. Adam knew how to cultivate and keep the Garden and he also knew what to name all the animals. Adam lived with a divine instinct that was birthed from the Holy Spirit living inside of Him. We can live the same way.
— When Jesus sent people out, he told them not to worry what to say, because they would be given the words. This is the type of reliance and confidence we are to have in the Holy Spirit.
— God is not against education, but your education and professional expertise are to be combined with supernatural insight.
— When you open your heart to God and His grace, heaven’s solutions can flow through your natural abilities.
— Your decisions can align with heaven’s perspectives.
— Your leadership can reflect God’s Kingdom within your sphere of influence.
— You can speak with authority in meetings, backed by divine wisdom, knowing you are hearing from above.
3. Freedom from External Rules to Internal Guidance.
Jeremiah 31:33 NIV:
“This is the covenant I will make… I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts.”
2 Corinthians 3:3 TPT:
“Your lives are a letter written by Christ himself—not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not carved onto tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.”
Grace moves us from following external regulations to being led by the internal presence of the Holy Spirit.
How this applies to you:
— When you learn to discern the diving impulses of the Holy Spirit, you develop trust (over time) in a divine intuition that guides your personal and professional decisions.
— You learn to listen for the Spirit’s guidance in strategic planning.
— You move beyond “Industry best practices” to Spirit-led innovation.
— You allow the Holy Spirit and your internal peace guide your business negotiations.
— You learn to follow and rest in supernatural timing, not just deadline pressure.
— You make decisions based on spiritual wisdom, not just data.
— When you lead your business or department this way, you transform corporate policies into platforms where the Kingdom of God and His grace are on display.
4. Living as a Human Conduit of the Divine.
2 Corinthians 5:20 NIV:
“We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us.”
John 7:38 NIV:
“Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”
Under grace, you’re not just a professional who believes in God—you’re a supernatural being having professional experiences.
How this applies to you:
— Your presence should shift the atmosphere of every environment you walk into, whether in the workplace or in personal relationships.
— You can be so in tune with the Holy Spirit that you bring heaven’s perspective to team conflicts or moments that require a key decision.
— When you live this way, your projects can showcase supernatural excellence.
— Do you realize that God can give you Spirit-led innovation that can transform your industry?
— Your work becomes worship when the Holy Spirit leads you to do what heaven wants to be done in your business or team.
— God wants your leadership to demonstrate Kingdom principles in action.
— God wants to be glorified and magnified through the way you treat your spouse, children, friends, co-workers, superiors, and subordinates.
5. Operating in Supernatural Power.
2 Corinthians 4:7 NIV:
“But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.”
Grace restores our ability to operate in God’s power, not just human effort.
How this applies to you:
— Open your heart to be naturally supernatural. When you do, you expect supernatural multiplication of your time and resources.
— You can receive heaven’s strategies for complex challenges.
— You can experience supernatural favor in negotiations.
— You can see impossible situations transform through faith, where what people said would never happen, happens for you all the time.
— When you meditate on the Word of God daily, you learn to discern the voice of the Holy Spirit, and you are quick to obey whatever He tells you to do; you will become a human conduit of the divine in every area of your life. Your home and workplace will become touchpoints where heaven is manifested on the earth on a daily basis. Why? Because God put His treasure (His Spirit) inside of you as an earthen vessel, you are quick to give Him ALL the glory. You make it clear to your co-workers, family, and friends that the “all-surpassing power” that is routine in your life “is from God and not you.” This is THE GRACE LIFE, and I am convinced it is how we are to live.
Declaration of Faith:
Father, I thank You for making me Your temple.
I am no longer limited to visiting Your presence—I carry it everywhere I go.
I take Your Spirit with me into every meeting, conversation, and activity I engage in.
Your Spirit guides me internally, and it impacts every area of my life!
I walk in restored authority as heaven’s representative in my workplace.
Divine solutions flow through my professional decisions because I am led by Your Spirit in all things.
My work becomes worship as I am led by You and seek to glorify You!
I live THE GRACE LIFE in 2025 and beyond, therefore GREATER IS COMING FOR ME!
I declare this by faith. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
This is Today’s Word! Apply it and prosper!
