The Year of Great Grace – Final Message for 2015

by Rick

While God speaks to us individually and specifically, there are also certain ‘sounds’ that come from heaven during particular times and seasons.  At the beginning of this year I told you I believed we were in a season of GREAT GRACE.  That is the ‘sound’ I was hearing from heaven and it is in line with the ‘sound’ I have been hearing for the past few years – a sound of grace.

After teaching on faith for years, the Lord led me to start teaching on grace in September, 2012.  40 months later, I am still teaching on grace because I believe it is the prevailing message coming from heaven for this season.  I spent most of the year teaching on “Graced Based Success”.  We all want to win in life, but we must learn to win God’s way, by His unearned and amazing grace.  I trust the messages this year have helped you walk in God’s grace and purpose for your life.

As I write my final message of the year, I would like to get out where I came in, with a message on GREAT GRACE.  Here are my final thoughts for you for 2015.

1.  Embracing God’s grace takes the spotlight off of you.  When you acknowledge God’s grace you are also quick to give God the credit for what He does in, with and through you.  This makes your life all about Him!

2.  Embracing God’s grace takes the pressure off of you.  Your performance could never be flawless enough.  Your ability could never be strong enough.  But God’s grace is always enough.

a)  Grace connects the blessing to God’s love instead of your performance.  This makes accepting and embracing the grace of God liberating.

b)  When you realize you are simply a conduit of God’s glory it frees you from the pressure to perform.

c)  When you accept and embrace God’s grace you are in position to simply say what you hear, do what you are led to do, and freely give what is freely given to you.

3.  Embracing God’s grace makes the meaning of your life all about God.

a)  When you get to the point where you die to self, you give yourself away to God, and you wake up every morning ready to do whatever he leads you to do, you know your life is all about Him.  If you ever get to this point your life will be amazing, because it will be the life God planned for you before the world began.

b)  Your life should not be about selfish pursuits.  Make your life about the one who gave it to you and you will experience life beyond anything you ever imagined.

4.  Your human performance could never measure up to the size of God’s divine call on your life.

a)  The only way to accept the full magnitude of God’s call on your life is by His unearned grace.

b)  On your own you could never be good enough to earn what God called you to do.  But Jesus was good enough FOR you.

*** Accept the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness provided to you in Christ Jesus, release the pressure to perform, and live a grace-based life.  This is the only way to experience grace-based success.

*** As you close out 2015 and prepare for 2016, make your preparation all about God and whatever He wants to do in your life in this season.

*** On your own you are limited, with God you are limitless.  So don’t base your future on your performance, keep the emphasis on God and His grace.

*** Don’t base your future on your past.  God has based your future on His plans, birthed out of His love, based on His grace.

Lastly, instead of leading you in a declaration of faith, I feel led to pray for you this morning.

My Prayer for You to Close Out 2015:  Father, I thank You for connecting me to the person receiving this prayer.  This season of GREAT GRACE has been amazing.  Thank You for blessing us and pouring out Your love on us the way You have.  As we seek to close out 2015 strong and prepare for 2016, I ask You Father for the following, for this person.  First of all, give them peace; your peace, supernatural peace.  May Your peace overtake their heart and mind right now.  May Your peace flood through their soul.  May they receive forgiveness for the mistakes they made in 2015 and bless them Father to forgive themselves.  I want them to be able to walk into 2016 free.  Free from condemnation and self-incrimination.  Give them clarity and focus concerning what to do now, in this season, as they prepare for the next.  May their spiritual eyes be fixed and focused on Your plans for their life.  Holy Spirit, point out to them what to do and what not to do in this season.  So they can close out this year strong.  Give them vision, not only for this season, but for the next.  May they be able to see beyond where their natural eyes can look.  May they see into eternity from time.  May they see into heaven from the earth.  Give them revelation Father, so they can see what’s coming.  Lastly Father, I ask You to bless them richly.  May You open doors no man can close and close doors no man can open.  I release Your blessing over their physical bodies, their relationships, their families, their finances, and their future.  Bless them indeed.  Not because they deserve it, but only because of Your amazing grace.  I pray this prayer in faith, in the name of my Lord, Your Son, Jesus the Christ.  Amen.
This is Today’s Word!  Apply it and Prosper.
