God Does Not Need Permission to Bless You

by Rick

Today, we continue our series entitled “Laser Focus,” emphasizing living with a Laser Focus on the Fixed Purpose God established for us before the world began.

(Proverbs 4:25 TPT)

Set your gaze on the path before you. With fixed purpose, looking straight ahead, ignore life’s distractions.

Scriptures for today:

(James 1:2-4 TPT)

2 My fellow believers, when it seems as though you are facing nothing but difficulties, see it as an invaluable opportunity to experience the greatest joy that you can!

3 For you know that when your faith is tested, it stirs up power within you to endure all things.

4 And then as your endurance grows even stronger it will release perfection into every part of your being until there is nothing missing and nothing lacking.

(Ecc 3:1 ERV)

There is a right time for everything, and everything on earth will happen at the right time.

(Gen 41:41 MSG)

So Pharaoh commissioned Joseph: “I’m putting you in charge of the entire country of Egypt.”

So, what does this mean to you today?  A few things.

1. God Is Not a President.

— Unlike a president or prime minister, Pharaoh ruled as a king with absolute power and authority.

— Those accustomed to the governance of elected officials often struggle to comprehend the supreme and sovereign power of a king.

— A king’s rule is based on royal decree, where his word is law, without the need for approval or consensus.

— Our God is a King whose authority surpasses all human systems of governance.

— As King of kings and Lord of lords, God reigns supreme with unquestionable authority over all creation.

— The power of our King is not up for debate; He decrees blessings, and they come to pass, with nothing and no one to oppose Him.

— Pharaoh was a king, not an elected official (president or prime minister). So, when he chose to commute Joseph’s sentence, promote him to the #2 position in the land, and place the entire nation of Egypt under the authority of a Hebrew, people may not have liked it, but they could not do anything about it.

— Understanding this is a true blessing because when God is ready to bless you, nothing and no one can stop Him.

2. God Has No Checks and Balances.

— A king doesn’t have the checks or balances that restrict the decisions of elected officials.

— The rule of a king is final, with no parliament, congress, or judiciary to limit his authority.

— God’s authority surpasses all human constraints; He doesn’t need permission or approval from anyone.

— As the King of kings, He has the absolute authority to make decisions, and His word is final.

— Just like Pharaoh had the ultimate power in Egypt, our God reigns over all creation with complete authority.

— God holds the power to bless you, elevate you, and promote you without consulting anyone.

— His sovereignty means that no man, government, or system can prevent Him from fulfilling His will in your life.

— You may have experienced delays, but when God decides to move in your favor, nothing will stand in His way.

— He is not subject to man’s opinion or approval; His decisions are based on His perfect wisdom and timing.

3. One Move from God Can Change Your Life Forever.

— In a single day, Joseph went from prisoner to the second most powerful man in Egypt.

— God orchestrated Joseph’s rise, proving that He can turn any situation around in an instant.

— When God speaks a word over your life, it has the power to instantly bring your breakthrough.

— Your long-awaited promise can manifest suddenly, changing your life forever in a moment. Believe God for suddenly-type blessings!

— Trust God’s timing and know that He can do in seconds what you could not accomplish in years.

— Your circumstances do not limit divine favor; God can open doors that no man can shut.

— No matter how impossible things seem, one move from God can catapult you into your divine destiny.

— Be prepared because God can deliver your breakthrough when you least expect it, and when God is ready to change your life, it will not take long!

4. Keep Your Heart Open and Expectant.

— Like Joseph, you may have been waiting a long time for your breakthrough, but keep your heart open.

— God’s timing is perfect, and while the wait may seem long, He is preparing you for something great.

— Even in delays, trust that God is working behind the scenes to align everything for your good.

— Stay faithful, remain in faith, and keep your heart open because your breakthrough could be around the corner.

— God’s promises are unwavering, and He rewards those who hold on in faith and expectation.

— Your circumstances are temporary, but God’s purpose is eternal; trust that He is working it all out.

— Remember, waiting time is not wasted time; God is developing your faith and character for the blessing before you.

— Never allow delays or difficulties to discourage you; believe that your blessing can manifest at any moment. It can happen at any time!

— Enter this day and every day, ready to walk in God’s blessing and favor!

Declaration of Faith:

Father, I trust in Your unlimited authority and sovereignty.  I know You don’t need permission from anyone to bless me.

I believe You have complete control, and one move from You can change my life forever.

I hold on to Your promises, keeping my heart open to Your perfect plan and timing.

I refuse to be discouraged by delays, knowing that my breakthrough can happen at any moment.

I declare that my faith will remain strong, even when facing challenges and setbacks.

You can turn my situation around in a moment!

I trust in Your wisdom and plan for my life, and I expect my breakthrough to manifest soon.

I know that when it happens, You will exceed my expectations, and I declare that GREATER IS COMING FOR ME.

I declare this by faith. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

This is Today’s Word. Apply it and prosper!
